Rich Laxer, Chair of the Board

Rich Laxer

Rich Laxer was appointed as Chair of the Board in 2026. Rich spent more than 34 years at General Electric, holding senior leadership roles across the US, Asia and Europe, including as Chairman and CEO of GE Capital. He also served as President and CEO of GE Capital International and CEO of GE Capital Solutions, leading global financial services businesses through the 2008 financial crisis and the subsequent restructuring of GE Capital.

 

Rich is currently a Senior Advisor to Warburg Pincus and serves on the boards of Cross River Bank, Kindred for Business, and Singular Bank. He has extensive experience in global banking, fintech, capital markets and board governance. Rich holds a BA in Business from Skidmore College and divides his time between the US and UK.

Sergio Ferrarini

Sergio Ferrarini is a Partner and Head of Technology for Inflexion where he is responsible for leading the origination and execution of majority and minority investment opportunities in the data and technology sectors across Europe. Sergio led investments in and is a board director of Infront, Curinos and Wise and has had board responsibility for Alcumus.

 

Sergio started his career in the M&A team at Morgan Stanley in Milan, moving into private equity when he joined Bain Capital in London. There he was involved in several transactions across Europe and the US. He was then a founding member of the Principal Investing team at Eight Roads, the proprietary investing arm of Fidelity International, with a mandate to invest in growth companies with a focus on financial technology. Prior to joining Inflexion in 2019, Sergio worked for HgCapital focusing on software and tech-enabled services.

Robert Dagger

Robert Dagger is an Investment Director responsible for originating, evaluating and executing transactions at Inflexion.

 

He started his career in strategy consulting at Monitor Deloitte, working on a range of corporate and digital strategy projects in the technology, media and telecom sector. Prior to joining Inflexion in 2019, he was with a venture capital fund, specialising in investments into software and media businesses.

Kristian Nesbak

Kristian Nesbak founded Infront with Morten Lindeman in 1998. Prior to this Kristian was one of the founders of Falcon, who became the market leader in financial information services in Norway and Sweden. In 1994, Falcon was purchased by Reuters, and Nesbak became responsible for their Internet products in the Nordic countries.
