Infront Named Among First Distributors of Europe's New Consolidated Tape for Shares and ETFs

Map of EU financial network

Partnership with EuroCTP reinforces Infront's position at the heart of Europe's financial data infrastructure, providing a single real-time view of EU equity trading without additional integration work.

Amsterdam, 2 September 2026 – Infront, a leading provider of financial market data and technology solutions, today announced it is among the first distributors of EuroCTP, the European Union's official consolidated tape (CT) for shares and ETFs. Infront clients can access a single, authoritative, real-time view of trading activity across EU equity markets, delivered directly through the platforms they already use.

EuroCTP consolidates pre-trade and post-trade data from more than 130 contributors across 45 regulated markets, 82 multilateral trading facilities, and 10 approved publication arrangements, normalising timestamps and sequencing across venues to produce one consistent, real-time reference for EU equity market activity. That includes a European best bid and offer (EBBO), giving firms a single reference price for each instrument. The service is designed to reduce the fragmentation that has long made it difficult for investors to build a clear, market-wide picture of European trading.

By making EuroCTP available through its platform, Infront gives clients a consolidated view that supports use cases from best execution review and transaction cost analysis to liquidity analysis and pre-trade valuation checks, without needing to piece together data from multiple venues themselves.

"Infront is proud to distribute EuroCTP and be among the first to offer one authoritative view of EU shares and ETF activity. For our clients this means a clearer picture of the European market, without the complexity of sourcing and integrating data venue by venue. It turns fragmented market activity into a trusted reference that firms can use every day to inform the decisions that matter," said Enrique Sacau, CEO of Infront.

“We're pleased to welcome Infront as a distributor of EuroCTP,” said Veronica Taylor, Head of Sales at EuroCTP. “Partnerships like this are essential to support broad adoption of the consolidated tape. Infront's presence across European markets, and its reach across both institutional and retail investors, brings the tape directly onto the systems they already work in.”

EuroCTP is scheduled to go live on 14 September. ESMA selected EuroCTP in December 2025 to operate the EU's first consolidated tape for shares and ETFs under MiFIR, and authorised it as Consolidated Tape Provider in July 2026, completing the final regulatory step before launch.

Following the launch, EuroCTP will be available as part of Infront's comprehensive data catalogue. Firms interested in accessing the consolidated tape can register their interest.
