What’s Driving the Conversation in WealthTech

Participants at the Fund After Work event in Frankfurt

Throughout spring 2025, Infront has been hosting and participating in events across Europe focused on digital transformation in wealth and asset management. Topics like regulatory pressure, data infrastructure and AI adoption came up time and again, highlighting a clear shift in priorities as firms look to simplify, scale and adapt.

Here’s a look at what stood out – and what’s coming next.

TradeTech Paris (13–15 May)

With increased regulatory scrutiny, fast-changing technology, and a renewed focus on execution efficiency, TradeTech offered a timely forum for discussion.

Infront saw strong engagement at its stand, including interest from larger banks noting growing client flows through Infront solutions such as Assetmax and the Infront trading platform.

Key topics discussed included:

  • The practical realities of AI integration in WealthTech
  • The evolution of ETF execution and liquidity
  • European equities – assessing competitiveness on the global stage

The event reinforced Infront’s positioning as a partner delivering integrated capabilities across trading, data and portfolio management.

DKF, Genusstreff & VuV Get Together (13–15 May)

Across three events in Germany in May, Infront highlighted its continued focus on digitalisation, compliance and risk management.

At DKF in Munich, discussions centred on how asset managers can meet evolving regulatory requirements using more efficient workflows. Then on 14 May at Genusstreff, we hosted a valuable discussion on how asset managers can navigate geopolitical tensions and volatile markets by embracing digitalization as a strategic opportunity.

At the VuV Get Together on 15 May, Infront introduced IQ Risk, a new tool designed to enhance regulatory reporting, transparency and risk management across multi-asset portfolios – an important topic given recent volatility in the markets.

Fund After Work Frankfurt (3 June)

Set against the backdrop of Klassikstadt, a monumental former factory in Frankfurt, this networking evening offered an informal setting to connect with clients and peers. As sponsors, Infront shared updates to its valuation and risk services, supporting custodians and asset managers.

Smart Capital Summit Lugano (11 June)

The first edition of the Smart Capital Summit series brought wealth managers together for roadmap updates, client dialogue, and a networking lunch. Discussion focused on practical innovations in digital wealth management, including enhancements to Assetmax. The series continues in Geneva and Zurich later in June.
